Into the West

Just thought I should let all the Angel faithful (i.e. Abby) that a little someone named Christian Kane has a fairly substantial part in Steven Spielberg's TNT classic mini series Into the West. That's right folks, Leslie is back and looking super hot with braids. You wouldn't think but I'm talking yummy! Just thought I'd share the wealth. Hope your Monday was as fab as mine (said with only a hint of sarcasm).

Long Time No Blog

I know, I know. I haven't written in awhile, as Megan McLean was kind enough to point out. So this will be a catch up. I'll start with a little self congratulations. As of today I've lost 18 lbs in the last few months. That might not seem like a lot but they sure do add up. Alright, now that that's out of the way on to bigger and better things, such as HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE!!! Less than a week till the hugely nerdy side of me emerges and becomes consumed by a children's book. I take solace in the fact that I am not alone in my HP obsession. I will be traveling to Provo the following weekend to have a group discussion on the newest installment of the HP series with Abby and Alison. Fun times should be had by all.

Okay, I can't IM and blog at the same time so the rest will have to wait till later. Till then!

Growing up blows

Well I've officially become an adult. This afternoon I transfered my auto insurance from my parents policy to one of my very own. Woo hoo! Not really, that was sarcasm folks. Luckily it works out to about only $60 more every 6 months or $10 extra every month. Not bad, I can handle it. Things were made better when I checked my mail and saw my bday card from Grammy Lou. Hello $30! I think I'll go buy myself something pretty with that!

Okay, power nap time then it's off to dinner and a movie with my mama. Later all.

Hello all, and by all I mean Abby, Michelle and Megan. I'm pretty sure you're the only three who have visited my little blog world. Welcome and thanks.

This weekend was a quiet, if not tiring one. Up late for various reason both Thursday and Friday nights, but I managed to catch up on my sleep last night and hopefully will hit the hay relatively early tonight. It all depends on if game 2 gets exciting.

I finished up with Angel Season 2 this morning. I'm waiting for Season 1 Fro...where is it? I don't know how much longer I can wait!!!

My mom, brother and I went to Mr. and Mrs. Smith this afternoon. It was pretty good, lots of action, Brad Pitt in tight shirts, and Vince Vaughn being super funny. I'd recommend it to you all. I tried to watch Napoleon Dynamite last night but had to turn it off after 30 minutes because it was making me want to hurt myself. So not funny. I know I'll get a lot of flack for this, because I have already, but I really don't care. I also watched Anchorman, funnier than Napoleon but not hilarious. Is it just me or is Will Farrell funnier on SNL? I am excited for Bewitched though, that looks good. I love Nicole Kidman. Too bad her ex is getting weirder and weirder each day and dragging poor, poor Katie Holms down with him.

Okay, I'm done blogging for now. I'll talk to you all later.

Oh Lindsey

So I watched some more of Angel season 2 this afternoon and I have to say that I'm even more in love with Christian Kane, aka Lindsey. Or almost Mr. Angeline Jolie in Life or Something Like It; and that movie he plays for the Seattle Mariners. He's oh so pretty!

Okay, that's my thought for today. I'm going to go to bed and dream of Lindsey.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well it's official folks, I'm 25 today! I got a slice of yummy cake at work, a set of super cute dish towels and a fun lunch with Greta and Shayne! My Grammy called me to wish me a happy birthday and to let me know that my card is in the mail. Even though the weather suck a** today, I'm in a pretty good mood.

I'm going to lounge in my bed and make my way through Angel season 2. I hope you all have as great a day as I'm having!

Woo Hoo!!!

I have to say I'm pretty excited for tomorrow. I turn 25 and I'm feeling pretty good about it. Which I should since I had my freak out about turning 30 when I turned 23. Don't ask, you'd have to be well versed in Megan logic to truly understand how I got from point A to point, oh let's say, LL.

My parents are taking me out to dinner tomorrow night at Ruttabaga's. Doesn't sound too appetizing but trust me it is. They have the best desserts in the whole of Idaho Falls. I'm also excited to see what I get, but judging by the phone calls and my brother's lack of imagination (okay, not so much; he's a 21 year old guy, what do they know about girls?) I have a good idea as to what I'm getting. Still unwrapping presents is fun!

I'm hoping a certain Abby Catherine Williams will return the Buffy favor by giving me Angel season 1 for my b-day but who knows. I'll just have to wait and see. If not, I'll just withhold season 2 of Buffy. Don't doubt me. I'll do it!

The weather here has been random. It will rain tomorrow which is such a bummer. That's one of the best things about having your birthday in the summer, it's nice weather. No such luck my friends, but this is much better than the years that it snowed on my birthday. That's just mean.

Okay, I need to shower after my run. Sweat is icky!!!
